No Time

Too busy working to golf thus far this year I have only golfed 3 sets of 9 holes and one 18 hole scramble. I have a brand new set of clubs and can't even use them! I love my new driver and I am definitely still getting used to the irons to say the least, but if I could just get out there I might actually be decent, but who knows! What I do know is that my sister who has never really played golf somehow got a hole in one on #2 at the New Castle Country Club! Avid golfers may spend their whole lives playing and never get one, but she gets one the third or fourth time really playing! Crazy...

First Post

Figure the first post to the golf blog would be appropriately made on the final round of the US Open. I actually just finished my third round of nine of the year and it was un-Tiger like to say the least. I had some lapses of focus in addition to having trouble selecting clubs due to the fact that I am trying out some new ones to create a new set. After assembling the new set, I am going to take my old set down to Florida to my parents condo where I go three or four times a year for vacation.

My rounds have surprisingly got progressively worse this year as my very first round I shot a 44, followed by a 47, and then an ugly 51. My first step to get my golf game back on track will be to get my new bag in order and here is what I am thinking:

3) Hybrid 3
4) Hybrid 4
5) 5 Iron
6) 6 Iron
7) 7 Iron
8) 8 Iron
9) 9 Iron
10) P Wedge
11) A Wedge
12) S Wedge
13) 56 Degree Wedge
14) Scotty Cameron Putter

All of the aforementioned clubs are part of the Burners, and the only club from my old set is the Scotty Cameron Putter. So that's that, hopefully I can get these clubs in the next couple days because I am going to Florida on Wednesday. That's it for now!
